Forgotten Relics Event
The new Forgotten Relics event has Raiders unlocking rewards by earning Merits. Merits are automatically converted from the XP you gain playing on any map, and they're spent to unlock a range of rewards — gameplay items, weapons, and Raider Tokens.
You can earn additional Merits by tracking down relics scattered across the world and tucked away in containers like lockers, drawers, and crates. Each relic carries a different Merit value depending on its rarity. The catch: to claim those Merits you must successfully extract with the relic in hand.
Event Rewards
- Gameplay items, weapons, and Raider Tokens
- The Saltwalker Outfit, its toggles, and more
- Merits earned here also feed into Converging Paths progress
Converging Paths Project
The Converging Paths project runs from June 16 through July 27, calling on Raiders to secure safe passage for the nomads, gather vital supplies, and recover forgotten relics from Topside.
Each stage you complete advances a Display Case that showcases the relics uncovered along the way. Raiders who see the project through to the end walk away with the rewards below.
Final Project Rewards
- Red-Black color variant of the Saltwalker Outfit
- Sextant backpack charm
- Raider Tokens
Season Token Total
- Completing the project brings the total Raider Tokens earnable this season to 300
No Free Loadout: Night Raid & Close Scrutiny
Embark is disabling free loadouts for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny to raise the barrier of entry, pushing players to commit to appropriate risk and reward in scenarios that have better loot.
"This is a time limited change that we will be testing for the next three weeks. We may add this limitation to more map conditions in the future after we've observed its impact and analyzed your feedback."
The Reaver Set Bundle
A new Reaver Set bundle is available with this update — featured in the cinematic above.

Anti-Cheat
Embark is continuing to expand Denuvo Anti-Cheat to more players and reports being pleased with progress so far. They've also been focused on addressing item duplication, detecting incidents, taking strict action, and building safeguards to prevent recurrence.
A new inbox message system now keeps you informed when action is taken on a player you reported:
Action Notice
- A confirmation sent once a player you reported has been banned
Loot Compensation
- If a cheater who knocked you out is identified, your lost loot is returned automatically — no report necessary
Because these are independent, you may receive both in certain cases — for example, if you report a cheater who also knocked you out.
The Road to October
October is set to mark ARC Raiders' biggest update yet. Most of the team is focused on building the new map, bringing ARC to life, planning new progression routes, writing quests, testing weapons — and recording new instruments.
Embark acknowledges this quieter period takes some getting used to. Their balance is delivering short-term content through Projects and Events while building something substantial for the Fall, and then every six months beyond. Distinguishing Live Updates from Content Updates also frees their live service team to react faster to issues, bugs, and balance.
Known Issues
A few known issues to be aware of:
- Some PC players may experience lower FPS than usual — update GPU drivers or try rolling back a version
- Investigating crashes affecting some Xbox players (particularly Series S)
- Looking into unwanted Quick Wheel behaviors
- The Dolabra, Hullcracker, and Rascal don't damage training dummies on the Practice Range
- The Saltwalker outfit preview on the Forgotten Relics page may show two toggles per element
- The Leaper can jump through the ARC Turbine; Shredders float to the ceiling in some Hidden Bunker rooms
- Shots taken while riding ARC may not register correctly
See you topside, Raiders.
