New Trader: Nomadic Envoy (Ermal)
Ermal is a member of the Nomadic Envoys, a tribe of surface-dwellers who have long avoided going underground. He's now set up camp in Speranza, offering barter trades to Raiders who've reached Level 25.
The system is straightforward: trade high-value ARC materials and rare weapons for rewards you actually want. No currency — just item-for-item bartering.
Permanent Perks
- Expanded Stash Space (resets on Expedition)
- Expedition Vault — safely store up to 5 items that persist through the wipe
Weekly Rotating Trades
- Cosmetics
- Blueprints
- Raider Tokens
- Gameplay and progression items
- Items for current Raider Projects
"We'll keep a close eye on your feedback and data to ensure the balance stays fair and challenging. For the first week, a single Stash expansion and 5 expedition vault spaces will be available to gather initial feedback and give us a chance to adjust prices before adding more space."
Important note: the stash expansion resets if you depart on an Expedition, so you'll need to re-earn it each cycle. Ermal rotates his stock weekly — if you miss something, it may come back in a future rotation.
New Weapon: The Rascal (Grenade Launcher)
Tian Wen has been busy. The Rascal is a compact, lightweight grenade launcher designed as a sidearm alternative to the Hullcracker. It's built for anti-ARC firepower without the weight and commitment of a full-size launcher.
The Rascal at a Glance
- Role: Anti-armor sidearm — packs a punch against armored ARC
- Trade-offs: Slower reload, less predictable accuracy
- Strength: Lightweight carry for reliable explosive damage without the Hullcracker's bulk
- New Mod: Extended Barrel available (I and II tiers)
Balance Changes
ARC Behavior Improvements
Several meaningful changes to how ARC detects and engages Raiders:
- Bush and smoke vision reworked — ARC now has granular detection; deeper in foliage = harder to spot, edge of cover = easier to detect
- Sound perception updated — ARC hears better outdoors but is less sensitive to sounds indoors or through walls
- Firefly fire application fixed — damage now matches the visual flame, briefly grazing won't feel as punishing
- Rocketeer missiles spread wider — multiple missiles now consistently spread over a larger area instead of stacking on one spot
- Queen and Matriarch step over obstacles — less unfair knockback from clipping through geometry
- Spawn protection — ARC is less perceptive of newly spawned Raiders
Augment Changes
- Tactical Mk.3 (Healing) — can now heal allies (and enemies) after being revived, adding real support utility
- Combat Mk.3 (Flanking) — increased survivability to make it viable as a flanking option
Weapon Changes
- Bettina — base fire rate increased from 235 to 250
- Photoelectric Cloak — power cost halved from 10/s to 5/s
Weapon Durability Fixes
Embark acknowledged that last patch's durability changes hit too hard on certain weapons. This patch targets the worst offenders that broke too quickly, increasing their lifetime to bring them in line with the rest of the arsenal. They've committed to continued monitoring and adjustments.

Denuvo Anti-Cheat Arrives
Following its rollout in THE FINALS, Denuvo Anti-Cheat is now coming to ARC Raiders starting today. It's rolling out to a limited player pool first, with plans to expand after monitoring.
Embark clarified that this is not Denuvo DRM — it's solely the anti-cheat component, and they're working to ensure minimal performance impact. It will run alongside the existing Anybrain solution.
